Jacobsen’s Ninth

For Beethoven, Dvorak, Schubert, Mahler and Bruckner, “The 9th” represents the culminating artistic achievement of their lives. Here in Bridgeport, we celebrate “The 9th” with the start of Eric Jacobsen’s ninth season as conductor – the capstone of his profound time with GBS since 2014. Eric reprises Dvorak 8, brings die Fledermaus to our stage, and showcases the talents of pianist Ying Li on Rachmaninoff’s 4th Piano Concerto.
